Who Should Not Take Cialis?

Cialis should not be used by patients taking nitrates (such as nitroglycerin tablets or patches) because the combination of these with Cialis could significantly lower blood pressure and lead to fainting or even death in some men.

Interactions between Cialis (tadalafil) and other medications

Cialis (tadalafil) may interact with certain medications or supplements. Always let your doctor and pharmacist know about any other medications or supplements (including prescribed and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and dietary or herbal supplements) that you are currently taking.       • Isosorbide Mononitrate
      • Nitroglycerin
      • Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate
      • Propatyl Nitrate
      • Riociguat
      • Telaprevir

Using this medicine with any of the following medicines is usually not recommended, but may be required in some cases. If both medicines are prescribed together, your doctor may change the dose or how often you use one or both of the medicines.

      • Atazanavir
      • Bunazosin
      • Clarithromycin
      • Cobicistat
      • Darunavir
      • Erythromycin
      • Fosamprenavir
      • Indinavir
      • Itraconazole
      • Ketoconazole
      • Lopinavir

      • Nefazodone
      • Phenoxybenzamine
      • Phentolamine
      • Prazosin
      • Ritonavir
      • Saquinavir

      • Simvastatin
      • Tamsulosin
      • Telithromycin
      • Terazosin
